The Intrepid is back: will reopen tomorrow

The U.S.S. Intrepid is one of the most distinguished war ships in naval history: first launched in 1943 during World War II, then aided in NASA spacecraft recovery and later served in Vietnam.

After decommission it was established as a museum ship by Zachary Fisher and the Intrepid Museum Foundation. The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum undergone extensive refurbishment within the last two years, and will be back open at West Side's Pier 86 tomorrow.

If you are wiling to go to NY one of these days, don't forget to visit The Intrepid. I strongly recommend it: it's one of the most interesting places in the city.
